It’s a very special day, full of very special moments. It’s the one day of your life that you will remember forever. There’s the dress to organise, the flowers to arrange and then there is the photographer. How do you choose someone to capture the special moments of your day? You’ve got to consider the technique, personality, professionalism, price and experience.
I have the experience and skills to help you relax about that choice.
I have been doing wedding photography for approximately 8 years. I have completed two degrees in photography giving me the technical skills and creative edge necessary.
I like to mix up approaches and combine documentary with more directed shooting. This gives you a complete picture of the day. Everything is captured on professional digital equipment and you will receive a DVD of all the shots. I have a variety of packages to suit your budget. My albums are custom-made at Queensberry, New Zealand. You can choose anything from a wooden cover to traditional leather in a variety of colours.
I’m now based in Currumbin on the Gold Coast but servicing all areas of the Gold Coast, Tweed Heads, Byron Bay and the Northern Rivers.
"Shani did an amazing job with our wedding photos, we were looking for a mix of traditional and contemporary wedding photography and she managed to capture both perfectly. We were looking for a photographer that we could feel comfortable having at our big day, someone we were happy and relaxed around, who captured our precious moments without even realising she was there. After such a crazy fun filled day, the little special moments can be forgotten. Upon looking through the photos Shani took, we were reminded of those moments, the tears at the vows, the smiles at the joining of two families and the hugs shared amongst close friends. We are blown away at how creative and gifted a photographer Shani is, and I would highly recommend her as a photographer for any special occasion."
