We have experience: This means we can factor all contingencies into your booking. We are sensitive to the emotional significance of this moment for you. We adapt to the differences which make each wedding unique and special.
We are professional: Near enough is not good enough us! We are there to enhance your day.
We do not book “back to back”: There will be a minimum of two hours free space between your wedding and any others we have booked for that day.
We look great: unless otherwise requested our dress code is formal black.
We arrive early: all musicians arrive 30 minutes before the booking time. We are seated and ready to play as your guests arrive.
You get personal attention: Stephanie Higgs, the manager and 1st violinist will take the time with you to discuss your plans to make sure you are happy with all the arrangements. She will respond to emails immediately, and is also available for personal phone consultations.
We are versatile: in all aspects of the service we provide for your occasion, from the location, to the selection of music and the choice of ensemble whether it be quartet, trio or duet.
We give realistic quotes: we quote for the whole booking time. our fees will be discussed with you at the time of your initial booking enquiry. For wedding ceremonies we recommend a minimum booking time of 1 hour. In our experience, this allows 10 - 15 minutes for guests to settle before the arrival of the Bride, the duration of the service, and then for an unhurried departure of the Bridal party and time to receive the congratulations from your guests. We will quote for the entire time you wish for us to perform. We have a small fee attached to bookings which require us to play on the beach, and Stephanie will discuss how this is structured with you when you make your booking.
Nothing is too much trouble: your happiness is our main concern. We understand that arrangements can often change, especially when organising a big event like a wedding and we are happy to accomodate your needs wherever possible.
